VIDEO: Woman robbed of belongings in Riyadh, police arrest culprits

Riyadh Region Police announced the arrest of three people for their involvement in robbing and assaulting a Pakistani resident in a neighbourhood of the capital.

The media spokesperson for the Riyadh Region Police, Major Khaled Al-Kreidis, stated that it refers to the report received by the security authorities of the district police from a Pakistani resident.


The lady said she was assaulted and robbed of her belongings.

A video of the incident was circulated on social media.

The security authorities were able to identify and arrest the perpetrators: two Saudi nationals and a Chadian national.

He stated that the preliminary investigation indicates their involvement in stalking the woman while she was leaving the house. The Saudi national helped the perpetrators escape from the site using a vehicle.

Saudi-Arrest The police were handcuffing the culprits.

He added, “They were arrested and all preliminary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.”

Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and not to display valuables items while outdoors.

The police have urged everyone to report any suspicious incident to them.
