Couple in Ajman booked for assaulting each other

Ajman Misdemeanour Court looked into the case of assault between a 40-year-old husband and his wife.
Details of the case date back to an earlier time when both the spouses quarelled after a heated discussion inside their apartment.

The wife reportedly attempted to escape to the neighbours, but the husband grabbed and pushed her, so she fell on the floor.
He then beat her up and she did the same with a sharp tool, injuring his hand.
Each of them submitted a report to the police and the Public Prosecution referred them to the court on charges of assault.
The court sentenced them to pending 3 months in jail, while the Personal Status Court is working on settling the differences between them.
