Dubai once again has something new to offer. The emirate, which has the world’s tallest building, takes no chances on security-let ups, so it has deployed the most advanced autonomous security surveillance boat in its waters.

DP World, the world-class logistics company, has enhanced the safety and security of assets in Dubai’s ports with its latest innovation — the region's first fully autonomous security surveillance boat.

DP World said on Twitter, “We’re deploying the most sophisticated technology systems to ensure the safety and security of all assets in Dubai’s ports.

“Take a first look at our latest innovation, the first fully autonomous security surveillance boat in the Middle East.”

Sultan Bin Sulayem, DP World, Group Chairman and CEO said, “The shipping line will directly benefit the Arab world's three largest markets.

“We're committed to delivering best-in-class efficiency and productivity using smart technology-led logistics.”

Meanwhile, on the other hand, in partnership with DP World, the Dubai-based provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain logistics, the Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) has launched the first direct shipping line connecting UAE’s Jebel Ali Port in Dubai with Egypt’s Sokhna Port through Jeddah Islamic Port.
