Fire breaks out in four fishing boats on Sharjah Creek, brought under control

Squads of the Civil Defence in Sharjah put out a fire that broke out in four fishing boats in the Sharjah Creek on Monday morning. There were no casualties or injuries.

According to a spokesperson of the Civil Defence, the firefighting squads were immediately dispatched to the scene, after the operations room was alerted at 10:15 am about a fire erupting in a number of boats on Sharjah Creek.

Upon arrival at the fire’s location, four fishing boats were found to be in flames. Instantly, the Civil Defence’s firefighters swung into action and extinguished the fire. They completed the cooling operations at 12:30 pm, the spokesperson added, confirming that no injuries were reported.
