Sharjah Ruler clears raft of new 162 employment cases

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approved fresh 162 employment cases within the Emirate of Sharjah at a total annual cost of Dhs40 million.

This is part of the 4th batch of employment of the 6 categories ordered by Sheikh Sultan to be urgently employed, these being orphans, children of low income families, divorcees, family supporting wives, people of determination with 2018-2019 academic qualifications and martyrs’ family members of low income. The cost of the 562 employment cases approved by Sheikh Sultan as part of the previous three batches amounted to Dhs185 million per year. This brings to 724 the number of employment cases approved within 21 days only at a total annual cost of Dhs225 million.

This was announced by Ahmed Sultan while presenting the Direct Line programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio and TV. The 4th batch employment cases include 45 cases for orphans, 99 cases for low income families, 10 cases for divorcees, 4 cases for family supporting wives, 2 cases for people of determination with academic qualifications 2018-2019 and 2 cases for martyrs’ family members of low income, he said.

The 162 employment cases were distributed on all the emirate’s cities and regions as follows: 77 in Sharjah City (44 males and 33 females), 23 in Khor Fakkan (9 males and 14 females), 27 in Kalba (11 males and 16 females), 8 in Dibba Al Hisn (6 male and 2 females), 8 in Al Dhaid (6 males and 2 females), 7 in Al Madam (4 males and 3 females), 7 in Mleiha (5 males and 2 females), 2 females in Al Batayeh, 1 female in Wadi Al Helo and 2 females in Al Hamriya, he added.
