Photographer Cris Froese captures moon being loaded into car’s boot, names it ‘Theft of the Moon’

A 41-year-old Polish photographer, Cris Froese, planned to steal the moon through a picture where it appears as if he drove towards the moon parked his car at a distance went over and lifted the moon and carried it to his car’s boot.

The photos went viral on social media. 

The photographer named the group of pictures, "Theft of the Moon" said: "I planned for these pictures for two years and I did not believe myself when I succeeded.”

He added it was difficult to adjust the position of the car with the moon especially that the camera was 650 feet far of the car.

The photographer wrote on his account "Since my childhood and I am a lover of nature. I used to cycle or walk in the nature.

Froese, who loves a style of photography known as magical realism, said that while it was difficult to aligning the car with the moon for stunt but was pleased with the way the photos were received.

He added: “I am very happy that the image has become so popular.”

It is noteworthy that in 2019, the Russian photographer Diana Padmayeva picked up a picture of her husband putting the sun in the car box.
