Pakistani man buys 5-acre land on Moon for just $130

With the advancement of technology and scientific research, human beings are exploring new avenues for life beyond the earth. Be it landing on the Moon or searching for life signs on Mars, the new discoveries have changed the dynamics of this world.

In recent years, things on the scientific front have dramatically changed. Tech billionaire and SpaceX chief Elon Musk sent a Tesla car into space. Amazon chief Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest person, and billionaire Richard Branson, are planning a trip to space.

Gone are the days when people used to think about purchasing assets on earth. As the technology progressed, the trends of buying assets have also changed.

Recently, a Pakistani national from Lahore purchased a 5-acre land on the Moon.

Keeping in mind that people will start living on the  Moon in the future, barrister Izram Ali contacted a company, which deals with the buying and selling of land on the moon, and purchased the 5-acre land for just $130.

Ali said that he came across an advertisement on social media and discussed purchasing the lunar land.with his family and friends.

“When I told my family and friends, they thought I was joking, but I decided to contact the company and eventually became the owner of the land on the Moon,” Ali told Independent Urdu.

Ali said that he was provided a registry certificate by the Lunar Company and it has announced him the owner of acres No. 1393, 1394, 1395, 1396, and 1397. He was also given the relevant documents of the map which shows him his land.

He may visit his land on the Moon at some point in the future, but has to bear all the expenses.

Last year, a Rawalpindi resident, Sohaib Ahmed, purchased land on the Moon and gave it to his wife as a wedding gift.
