Bollywood’s superstar and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is rumoured to be playing the role of Sita, Rama’s wife, in an adaptation of India’s mythological story, Ramayana.
Twitteratti find it extremely difficult to digest Kareena in the role of the pure Sita and have started trending the hashtag #BoycottKareenaKhan on Twitter.
Adding to the beautiful actress' misery, people have also been tweeting that they would love to see her as Shurpanaka, the sister of Ravana, who is an evil character in Ramayana.
Shurpanaka is the reason for the events that start the chain of Rama’s downfall in Ramayana.
