Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli welcome their first child together.
The couple are are now parents to a baby girl.
Kohli confirmed the news on his Instagram account, which read: “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you for all your love, prayers and good wishes.”
He continued: “Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.”
The couple shared the happy news in August, along with the caption, "And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021."
Anushka Sharma earlier shared a picture of her baby bump on social media and said that nothing is more real and humbling than experiencing creation of life in you.
The couple tied the knot in December 2017 in Italy.
