AGMC breaks ground in Sharjah with new 117,000 square foot facility

AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles for Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, expands its footprint in Sharjah as it breaks ground on what will be a 117,000 square foot facility located on Sharjah’s Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. As part of AGMC’s network expansion and commitment to accommodate existing and potential clients, the upcoming facility will serve as flagship for BMW and MINI in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.

Ayhan Olcer, CEO of AGMC said, “Following the opening of our state-of-the-art facility in Dubai’s Motor City in 2020, I’m extremely proud to be marking AGMC’s expansion once again and as we break ground on our new facility in Sharjah and commemorate another milestone.”

Designed with the customer in mind, the state-of-the-art facility will feature specific spaces for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad, BMW i, BMW M, MINI Next and BMW Premium Selection - accommodating a total of 30 cars and up to 8 bikes on display.

The new spacious facility will also include a fully-fledged service centre complete with 32 work bays, 8 of which will be exclusively for fast-tracked queues, 4 diagnostic bays, 3 car wash bays and 4 service consultation areas. Combined, the service centre will have the capability to service up to 100 cars per day.

The new facility will embody all elements from BMW Group’s ‘Future Retail’ Strategy, a series of latest customer engagement features put in place to help BMW and MINI stand out in a competitive market. These will include: a Mobile Customizer, live car configuration and demonstration during consultations, and a Virtual Product Presentation.

 Meanwhile, The Sharjah Shopping Promotions (SSP), which is being organised by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), continued to attract shoppers for the second week in a row, with amazing offers and major discounts of up to 75% on luxury brands and a wide range of consumer goods.

The Sharjah Shopping Promotions is currently taking place in all cities and regions of the emirate and will run until January 29, 2023. It is increasingly attracting a huge turnout of shoppers and visitors from both inside and outside the Emirate, who were keen to enjoy the World’s Coolest Winter, and live unparalleled shopping experience.

Since its launch on December 15, 2022, the Sharjah Shopping Promotions have improved the sales of participating centers and shops and generated high revenues, as evidenced by the rising number of purchase vouchers and the large number of shoppers who took part in raffle draws to win valuable prizes, thus boosting the retail trade sector and satisfying merchants and businesses in many other sectors.
