DWTC set for busiest events month in the last quarter of 2019

Dubai World Trade Centre’s growing significance as a global hub for the event industry

With Dubai World Trade Centre’s event season in full swing, November will bring a total of 20 exhibitions, trade shows and conferences – the most business events scheduled in a month in 2019.

Alongside returning events, DWTC will be welcoming five new events in November alone to its robust portfolio including: 30th Annual International Association of Operative Millers MEA Region Conference & Expo; the Dubai Accessible Tourism International Summit, 31st International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC) & 4th Gulf Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (GCCMID); Young Professionalism Space Conference, 22nd IAA Human in Space Symposium; and, Shaping the future of Excellence and Sustainability Summit.

Key highlights in the month of November The International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) will be holding its 30th regional Expo and Conference at Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 - 6 November. The event will provide educational and technical programs to assist millers in productivity, increasing yields and improved safety, as well as tackling relevant challenges faced within the industry.

 In recognition of the UAE’s efforts to encourage youth in the field of space science and technology, the 4th Young Professionals in Space Conference 2019 which will take place from 4 – 6 November aims to shed the light on a holistic view of the science, engineering and space technology fields and provide access to professionals and experts from around the world.

The inaugural Dubai Accessible Tourism International Summit will take place from 5 - 6 November. The event aims to highlight the requirements, needs and solutions faced by people of determination during their travels as visitors or tourists to cities around the world.

Making its debut in the Gulf region, the dual conference and congress 31st International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC) & 4th Gulf Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (GCCMID) is the ideal forum to bring together world and regional leaders in infectious diseases, antimicrobial chemotherapy, infection control and clinical microbiology on 6 – 9 November.

 The 22nd International Academy of Astronautics Human in Space Symposium, will be introduced in the Middle East from 11 – 14 November. The event is set to bring together the world’s foremost experts in astronautics to explore and discuss the latest cutting-edge technologies and space research findings.

 The Dubai International Motor Show taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, from November 12-16th, is promising the ultimate deep-dive into the motoring and transport industry, with era defining tech, fully immersive VR/AR and some of the rarest cars all coming together to create the most exciting five-day meet in the region’s motoring calendar. VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show will be returning to DWTC from 13 – 16 November in its 3rd edition. The region’s leading retailers and wholesalers in quality gold and diamond products will be showcasing the creations and masterpieces from some of the world’s top designers, fashion houses and jewellers.

 Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and retailers are all set to participate at the Dubai Optical Show Vision held from 12 – 14 November, featuring a strong line-up of industry announcements and participations from new innovators, as well as established international and regional eyewear and eyecare brands.

Furthermore, the Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA) two-day summit - Shaping the future of Excellence and Sustainability Summit, aims to highlight their journey in pursuing and leading transformational change, and their contribution towards making Dubai a hub for global excellence. The event is set to take place from 19 – 20 November.

Ending November on a high note, The Big 5 will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The Middle East’s leading event for the construction industry has much in store to support construction companies throughout 25 – 28 November through a shifting economic landscape, boost business, launch the latest building solutions, educate industry professionals, and foster best practices championing technological innovation.
